The Gambia. 2nd Dec 2017. Thousands of people from across The Gambia gathered at the Buffer-Zone football park in Latrikunda to celebrate President’s Adama Barrow’s One Year Anniversary celebration. Adama Barrow made history when he defeated Yahya Jammeh, Gambia's authoritarian president of 22 years, becoming a new Gambian president-elect on the 2nd of Dec 2016.
