Class VI. comprises the Eeticularia, whichare chiefly marine types ; examples of the fresh-watertypes are Gromia and Diaplioropoclon. This grouptakes its name from the fact that the prolongationsof sarcode emitted by the organism form a reticulum GREGARINA
