Ostia Antica was the harbor city of ancient Rome and was around 30 kilometers apart from the capital. The huge excavations shows well conserved buildings and magnificent frescoes and mosaics. The theater provides seating for several thousand people and is still in use. Ostia Antica war die Hafenstadt des antiken Rom, das rund 30 Kilometer entfernt liegt. Das große Ausgrabungsgebiet besticht mit sehr gut erhaltenen Gebäuden, sowie tollen Frescos und Mosaiken. Das Theater bot Platz für einige Tausend Zuschauer und wird heute noch genutzt.
