A candid photograph taken on August 9, 1965, shows Master Sergeant Frank Baker, from Albemarle, North Carolina, at the controls of an armed Huey helicopter. MSgt. Baker was one of the few enlisted pilots in the Marine Corps, and the only one flying combat missions in Vietnam at that time. The photograph was taken by Sergeant H. Savatt from the Marine Corps.
