Aramid viscose fabric, SEM

Aramid viscose fabric, scanning electron micrograph (SEM). Aramide viscose fabric is light, thin and inherently flame resistant. Aramid fibers are a class of heat-resistant and strong synthetic fibers. They are used in aerospace and military applications, for ballistic-rated body armor fabric and ballistic composites, in bicycle tires, marine cordage, marine hull reinforcement, and as an asbestos substitute. Magnification: x35 at 10cm wide.
