The Jute Breaker. 2nd. „ Finisher. 3rd. „ 1st Drawing Frame. 4th. „ 2nd 5th. „ Roving Frame. During its passage through the breaker and finisher the jute is goingthrough what is termed the carding process—that is, it is being cutup into a sort of tow, and during the process it is being drawn to acertain extent at the same time. In the drawings a number of endsor slivers, as they are usually called, are put together and run throughthe drawing into one at the front, and it is being drawn out still
