The group of buildings consists of the hospitalproper, with executive and administration wings; andoutside, the power house which supplies heat, lightand power; the laundry building, abattoir, farmbuilding, and root house. The farm is an immenseone, supplying all the roots and meat, and the in-mates, if their condition allows, are permitted topartake in the work of producing their food. Thegrounds around the building are being laid out as apark. The building has a frontage of over four hundred feet. With wings extending back one hundred andfifty feet. The exterior is of rich red
