On the Global Day of Action, 7/25/09. Several thousand Demonstrated in Front of San Francisco City Hall in support of the People of Iran. Photo shows a sculpted bust of Neda Agha Soltan the 27 year-old woman shot to death during a Tehran demonstration. The bust was created by Paula Slater, a California artist, was displayed on the main stage during the demonstration. Demonstrations in support of the people of Iran were held on July 25th of 2009 in more than 100 major cities around the world and the San Francisco demonstration was one of the largest.
