The power station and car house occupy a most desirableposition near the Rochore Canal, from which water is obtainedfor condensing purposes. The depot buildings comprise theengine room and basement, boiler house, car house, machineshop, carpenters shop, paint shop, smithy, offices of the gen-eral manager and his staff, and the usual out buildings.
