Blue view, towards Andes, of Turibus, cars, passengers on shady deck of Chacao Channel ferry from Chiloe Island to Pargua, Chile
Vehicle ferries, every 30-35 minutes, provide access to Chiloe across the Canal de Chacao and across the Gulf of Corcovado, to Quellon, on the east side of the island. The journey from Pargua, on the mainland, to Chacao, on the northern tip of the island, takes some 40 minutes, and provides some dramatic views of the Andes Mountains to the east.
