Friends and relatives of fifth Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force Robert D. Gaylor arrive, for his memorial service Feb. 10, 2024 at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. Gaylor championed Air Force professional military education in the late '60s and '70s before he was promoted to Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force in 1977.
