BRAIN, DRAWING


The brain, or encephalon, is made up of two hemispheres; the brain stem (pink) which is the prolongation of the spinal cord, and the cerebellum (light green). Here, the various lobes are highlighted. In orange, the frontal lobe (involved in writing and language, planning and judgment). In dark blue, the parietal lobe (involved in perception of stimuli related to touch, pressure, temperature and pain). In light blue, the temporal lobe (involved in taste, hearing and memory). In dark green, the occipital lobe (involved in vision and the analysis of sense perceptions).
