And beautiful they are, these dances. If only I couldpaint them — but that is almost impossible; some of thegestures could be given, but not the rhythm. And they sit*badly to a painter, and, notwithstanding their idleness, arerarely quiet. Sketching is formidable. They will jump upto see what you have been doing and everybody troops all.
