They are equally desirable for pot culture for winter flowering. Three or four bulbs can be put into a T-inch or 6-inch pot, and. with the same treatment as given to Hyacinths, the dull winter and early spring months can be made bright with their exquisite gold and silver blossoms. But it is outdoors that Narcissus do best, and once planted need no further attention, the clumps multiplying and giving larger and finer results each year, and from an original planting of a few hundred bulbs in two or three years may be cut thousands of flowers without missing them.
