Private Crunelle of the Signal Corps took this photograph on January 2, 1919. It shows a footbridge built near Corbie, Somme, France by a detachment of the 105th Engineers from the 27th Division. The bridge was constructed in record time and was used by the American Expeditionary Forces during World War I. It was approved by the censor but the exact date of its issue is unknown.
