Marine Capt. Naro Neang, a military police officer with 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, III Marine Expeditionary Force, is promoted aboard Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 6, 2023. Neang, a native of Modesto, Calif., was commissioned as an officer in the Marine Corps on July 28, 2018, and reported to 3rd MEB on May 5, 2022. He currently serves as the anti-terrorism and force protection officer.
