Sinclair ZX Spectrum - issue one logic board and optional 32k ram expansion

Images from my personal collection of 8bit consoles/computers from the 1980's Here is Sir Clive Sinclair's legendary ZX Spectrum - the computer that kick started the home computing revolution. Also for folks now in their late 40's or earlier 50's the devices were pivotal in forging careers in IT. The Spectrum used a Zilog Z80 processor running at MHz (some models are fitted with a NEC D780C-1 variant). The original model came with either 16 or 48k of Ram - costing around £129 for the 16k and £179k for the 48k. The hardware design was by Richard Altwasser and the case was designed by Rick Dickinson.
