Silver phiale (libation bowl) ca. 2300–2000 Anatolian This vase, along with are said to have been found together, are best paralleled by pieces found by Heinrich Schliemann at Troy in a stratigraphic level know as Troy II. The wealth of jewelry and objects from the latest phase, Troy IIg, led Schliemann to believe that he had found the city described by Homer. In reality, this material is datable to about a thousand years before the Trojan Silver phiale (libation bowl) 255924
