Other Alpha Taus receiving theirmonograms were Emery Cox and Pledge Stewart Allen. Cecil Taylor was electedjunior manager of football for next for intramural sports, we won the cham-pionship in football by defeating II K !> inthe finals. Norman Her, Fielden Woodward,. NORMAN ILERBaskethall captain and Vic Snov/ were chosen on the all-intra-mural team, with Her as captain. We arenow on the way to another campus cham-pionship, having reached the finals in volley-ball. This year Washington & Lees basketballteam is composed of five A T [2s. We arerepresented by Captain Norman Her, andFielden Woodward at the two guard posts,Kit Carson at one forward with Bill Borries,who was the star of last years freshmanteam, beginning the season at the other for-ward position. Our fifth member is ManagerBill Swift. Buckie Stoops and Vic Snoware also on the squad and likely to seesuch service this year. The basketball teamis being coached by Brothers Cy Young andBill Ellis, the latter having charge of thefreshman team. We are looking forward with much interestto the Farcy Dress dance set which will beheld the last part of January. Norman Herhas been chosen president of Fancy Dressfor this year.
