Cow sculpture in Oxtrrail 2024, 2024 is a public art event in support of a well-known charity. An eclectic herd of oxen is roaming throughout Oxford; each has been painted by artists, schools, community groups, or local media. Note that Oxford - Ox ford' is named after the animal, of coure. How appropriate! This event raises for Sobell House Hospice, which provide expert and compassionate care to people at the end of life, and support to their family and friends. So it's all in a great cause. This specimen is located in Westgate Centre, a large shopping mall in the downtown area. Not sure what the connection is, however, with the famous Lascauxprehistoric cave painting of hunting
