James McHutchison, of New York, was knocked down by an automobile July 17 at Waverley, Mass., where ho was visiting his brother-in-law, Frank Edgar, on his Avay to Kennebunk, Me., and his riglit ankle was broken. It is now in a plaster cast and Mr. McHutchison is im- pro\iiig satisfactorily. One of the most attractive pieces of advertising issued by seedsmen is the montlily calendar, a lithographed card about 5x10 inches to hang on the ofiice wall, sent its friends by the J. C.
