Blackpool, Lancashire, UK. 3rd August, 2017. Rebellion Festival world's largest punk festival begins as thousands of punks arrive in Blackpool for international punk rock alternative music festivals. At the beginning of August Blackpool’s Winter Gardens plays host to a massive line up of bands, fans & Mohawk-sporting rockers for the 21st edition of Rebellion Festival clad in emblazoned leather jackets and plaid trousers. The Rebellion Festival, formerly Holidays in the Sun and the Wasted Festival is an English punk rock festival first held in 1996. The first festival in 1996 was held at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool England. It is still held there now, although on some years the festival has been held in nearby Morecambe.
