The bird took to the skies with its kill. BOGOR, INDONESIA: SHOCKING images captured the moment a hungry bird took to the skies with a three-foot long snake dangling out of its mouth. In one image, the crested goshawk bird could be seen as it stepped with all of its weight onto the grey ratsnake?s body, whilst it wrapped the rest of the snake around its legs and viciously dug its beak into the innocent reptile?s mouth. Another image captured the moment the two-pound bird took the three-foot snake to the skies, as it balanced its kill in between its mouth and feet and flew off into the distance. The vicious images were taken by director Ajar Setiadi (54) from Bogor, Indonesia, who captured the kill whilst out on a walk from 13-feet away. Ajar captured these shots using a Nikon D500 camera. Crested goshawks are birds of prey that are native to tropical Asia. They are closely related to eagles, buzzards and harriers and can grow to up to 18-inches at full adult size. The grey ratsnake is native to Indonesia and primarily feeds on rodents. At full adult size, they can reach up to nearly six-feet long and can live for up to eight years. Despite being non-venomous, these snakes can be deadly by their ability to constrict. @ajarsetiadi
