Bourdon gauge manometer. A flattened, closed-ended tube is bent into a C-shape. The open end is connected to a fixed pipe connected to the fluid whose pressure is to be measured. As pressure increases, the tube tends to try to straighten, this tiny movement is magnified by a gear system into the rotation of a pointer on a dial. This gives a gauge pressure (relative to atmospheric).
