Stratford-upon-Avon a medieval market town on the banks of the River Avon in Warwickshire, England is the 16th century birthplace of William Shakespeare. There are many early buildings still in existence dating back to the 15th century. Stratford's oldest building Holy Trinity Church dates back to 1210 and is located on the banks of the River Avon. William Shakespeare's tomb is located within the church.
