London, UK. 2nd August, 2013. After the Roma Genocide Commemoration at the Holocaust Memorial stone, protesters protest outside the French embassy against the removal of Roma from French makeshift camps in Paris and Lyon. Britain has recently adopted similar tactics to France, Germany and Italy, breaking up camps, arresting, re-arresting Roma, and carrying out so-called voluntary returns of EU citizens. The Roma are not allowed to work nor to receive benefits. The Government claims the reason for the Roma’s expulsion is that they can't support themselves.
