Alleghenywould not hold a dual meet and Washington and Jefferson made unreasonabledemands, giving as their excuse that we had too many good men. Hence theonly other event in which our track men took part was the Tnter-Class Meetheld about the middle of May. The Inter-Class Mile Relay, the principle event,was won by the class of 1905. RELAY TKAM The Tennis Association — — f^l^lHE Tennis Association of Westminster College was organized in theI 1 I spring of 1900, by lovers of the sport among the faculty and studentl^HPM! body. The membership, which at first was thirty, has gradually in-creased to forty. The courts are centrally located near the First United Presbyterian the time of organization the association constructed three courts, but theincrease in membership demanding more, two additional ones were built. Theyare all kept in excellent condition, and are often all in use. Each year contests are held in both singles and doubles.
