THE Dual Subway is shortly to be extended to Flushing and are expected to be in operation by May, 1918, with 5 centsfare from any point on present Subway to Flushing, Main andBridge Streets, and 10 cents to points beyond to Little Neck and White-stone Landing. Agreement is about to be made between the PublicService Commission and the Long Island Railroad for leasing the tracksof the Railroad from Corona through Flushing to Little Neck and toCollege Point, Malba and Whitestone. Development possibilities of the Flushing district are enormous,and Flushing will probably witness a real estate boom smilar tothat which occurred in the Bronx a few years ago.
