MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Oct. 3, 2014) Ship’s Serviceman 2nd Class Willie Tolon puts on his self-contained breathing apparatus during a general quarters (GQ) drill on the Arleigh Burke-class, guided-missile destroyer USS Mitscher (DDG 57). GQ’s drills are training scenarios that allow the crew to increase efficiency of maintaining the ship in a timely manner in the event damage is taken.
