The Traffic Division also provides a safety patrolwhich functions on a city-wide basis. A continued, steady increase in the number of vehicles on our highways is reflected by the registrationfigures of the Commonwealth, which, as of December i, 1964, amounted to 2,077,440. and the total for the year 1963amounted to 2,023,069.
