Milk-giving capacity.—Udder large, shapely, evenly quartered, free from fleshiness, extending well up behind and far forward, strongly attached; milk veins large and tortuous; milk wells large; secre- tions of skin abundant and yellow; also the above indica- tions of all the other general characters.
