The students at Brewster Middle School being handed duct tape before tapping their principal, Shelia Gilliard, to the gym wall Nov. 30 at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune as a reward for winning the school fundraiser for selling the most coupon books for the Parent Teacher Association. “It was a great incentive for the kids,” Gilliard said. “They had a campaign for selling coupon books but it was more just about having some fun and letting the kids let their hair down and enjoy the moment of humiliating their principal.”
