150803-N-ZZ999-364 SAN DIEGO (Aug. 3, 2015) - Sailors attached to Amphibious Construction Battalion 1 (ACB1) heave a line onto a Lighter, Amphibious, Resupply, Cargo, 5 ton (LARC-V) vehicle during a training exercise using the Offshore Petroleum Distribution System (OPDS). The exercise, which involved Sailors and Marines, simulated the transport of fuel from amphibious to shore operations and helped strengthen joint operability among the branches.
