Regarding the question of publication, their is a point,I think which ought to be borne in mind, that if a coun-ty society wishes to have a paper which is read before it,referred to the committee on publications, it must do soformally. It dont do simply to have the report of apaper; they must send the paper to (lie secretary of theslate society, for the committee on publication To lookover and see if it is a proper one to print. That has beenomitted in several instances and a little of hard feelinghas occurred in consequence. I want to insist that theSecretary shall understand that. To be sure, in the newconstitution and by-laws they have got that down prettytine, and probably it will not need to be spoken of again.
