AN EXTEHPORIZED FUNERAL. r^i\ NE of the strangest spectacles in allthe varieties of funeral arrange-ment, was witnessed in the neigh-borhood of Delagoa Bay in SouthEastern Africa. Delagoa Bay is inthe district which has long beenthe subject of dispute with England, Portu-gal and the Republic of the twenty years ago the dispute wassubmitted to the arbitration of the Presidentof the French Republic, who gave judg-ment in favor of Portugal.
