The center panel carriesfour rail potential recording voltmeters with plugs and socketsfor connection to the rail pilots, four recording ammeters for thefour insulated return feeders, a recording bus-bar volmeter, aleakage ammeter for indicating the insulation of the feeders, withplug and sockets, and a voltmeter for the exciting circuit. This boardis of enameled slate in an iron frame, and carries switchgear andinstruments for controlling four three-wire circuits and onetwo-wire circuit. Each three-wire circuit is provided with twocircuit breakers, two ammeters and three single-pole two-wire circuit has one circuit breaker and ammeter andtwo single-pole switches. Two voltmeters are also on this board.
