All of the members of the MissouriValley Conference had teams in the field last season. Drakeand Washington, having dropped out for a year, again cameback w^ith strong teams. The teams were more evenlymatched than usual. The Conference was divided into a Northern and a South-ern section, each team playing four games with each of itscompetitors, and the winner of the Southern section was tomeet the winner of the Northern section to compete for thechampionship.
