Fleet Activities Sasebo, Japan (Aug. 15, 2004) -- Illuminated by the Albuquerque Bridge, Japanese volunteers place candle lit lanterns into the Sasebo River during Japan's annual Obon festival. The festival originated in the 7th century and is held to honor the souls of loved ones who have passed away.
