Bear cub hunting for salmon ALASKA THE CUTEST images of Kodiak cubs hunting and playing with each other were snapped in Katmai National Park, Alaska. In this part of Katmai, the bears, along with their families, can be seen feasting on salmon swimming upstream to reach their place of birth. Most of the cubs were born in Spring, making them not more than eight months old and weighing roughly two pounds. From a distance of 82 feet, wildlife photographer Edgard Berben captured these images using the Nikon Z9 camera with Nikkor Z 400mm lens. Edgard came across ten different cubs during this photoshoot, learning how to catch fish from the adults. ?Just like people, it takes a village to raise a child. It was fascinating to see the similarities in behaviour,? he said. ?It is amazing how also in nature and wild animals you can see, just like humans, the education and love a mother gives to her child. ?I was fascinated by their innocence. They represent the purest form of nature. "I felt extremely blessed and lucky to have been able to capture these precious moments." ENDS
