Memorial stone in Torridon in the highlands of Scotland
Memorial stone in Torridon in the highlands of Scotland. The stone was erected in 1912 by the wife of a Duncan Darroch. It is in recognition of the devotion and affection shown by 100 men on the Torridon Estate who, at their own request, carried his body from the house here on its way to interment in a family burying place many miles away.
