No. 13. spindle from the draw-bar passes througli a follower in thefront end of the box and another follower in the rear of thebox, and screws into a nut located in a recess in the rear of thebox. The spindle is screwed in by turning the spindle, as thenut cannot turn. The nut cannot therefore work loose withoutturning the coupler head. The device is easily assembled, asthe bottom of the draft box is left open. It is assembled byputting in the front follower, then the rear followe
