A wheellock rifle (Tschinke), Cieszyn (Teschen), circa 1650. Six-groove rifled, octagonal barrel in 8 mm calibre, slightly swamped at the muzzle, with brass front sight and dovetailed iron rear sight. The top of the barrel partly with ornamental, formerly gilt engraving. Characteristic wheellock engraved en suite with external spring (the release mechanism of the pan cover missing). Walnut stock divided at the forestock with engraved and blackened, elaborate staghorn and mother-of-pearl inlays (minor imperfections at the butt and near the muzzle), Additional-Rights-Clearance-Info-Not-Available
