Bedford, UK. 3rd December 2016. A woman holds a large poster 'Shut it Down - Noone is Illegal' at the 10th protest organised at Yarl's Wood by Movement for Justice calling for it and all immigration detention centres to be closed. Women inside who spoke by mobile phone at the protest said that Serco security guards stopped most of the women inside Yarl's Wood coming to the windows facing the protest and threatened any who greeted it, but those who managedto do so responded enthusiastically by shouting and waving back from the prison blocks behind the high fence, hindered by windows that open only a small crack.
