In this machine, built by the New Idea Spreader Company Ltd., atGuelph, Canada, the caracteristic part is the spreading mechanism, whichHes behind the cart : it consists of a winged-rotating distributor (made ofsteel), which, in revolving, spreads the manure over a width of about 6. « Nisco » Manure Spreader. to 7 feet, and also crushes the lumps of manure which nnght have passedintact between the 2 spiked pulverising cylinders which feed the spreaderregularly and uniformly. These 2 mechanisms are driven by 2 endless chains driven from therear wheels of the cart.
