' sp. If the last type, the Tupaia, is an upward-looking form, the next to be mentioned—the Colugo, or Flying Cat (Galeopithecus)—certainly looks downwards. This latter type is the opprobrium of zoologists, as such; it will not fit in well anywhere ; but to evolutionists, it is a very god-send. The Insectivora have got it amongst them, at last, but it is as lonely as a stray Elephant in.
