, Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany - Halde Schurenbach. The Schurenbachhalde is a 50 meter high former mining dump of coal mining. The stockpile was used by the Zeche Zollverein until its closure in 1986 for the storage of overburden. Subsequently, the heap was renatured and rebuilt into a landscape monument.
