Participants collaborate on developing computer games at a game jam at NYU-Poly in downtown Brooklyn in New York on Sunday, September 29, 2013. With women making up only 4 percent of game developers the Code Liberation project at NYU-Poly invited women coders of different skill levels to participate in a weekend long game jam to encourage more women to enter the tech fields. Over 20 women participated, working in teams to develop their games. (© Richard B. Levine)
