Flöte Kubb, Sillgarnkubb. Square piece of wood. At one end a round hole with eye -lined rope stump. Gray color residues. On two sides marked with "iv" (Oskar Viktor Nilsson) this was used when cubbed, lowered, the yarn to a definite depth. It was thus attached to the "stroke" in the melts (= where the yarn was tied together). Acquired at the 1955 Fisheries Survey, No. 19. Gift by Oskar Jakobsson, Bredavik, Kristianopel.
