MAJ. GEN. Gene Deegan, vice director of the Joint Chiefs of STAFF Committee, and his wife, Nancy, are reunited with their daughter, ENSIGN Elizabeth Deegan, at a homecoming party at the Bethesda Naval Medical Center. The celebration is being held in honor of the crew members of the hospital ship USNS COMFORT (T-AH-20) who served in the Persian Gulf during Operation Desert Storm.
