David Cox, British Physicist. Cox works at the University of Surrey's Nano-Electronics Centre (NEC) and was appointed Strategic Research Fellow of the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in 2005 to work with NPL's Quantum Metrology Group. He has worked with NPL on investigations into using carbon nanotubes to measure temperature, length and electrical conduction at the nanometre (a billionth of a metre) scale.
